Jay1s TAXI Deconstructed

After a brief hiatus, 2022 brings the next big thing in the spin-off series. The long-awaited and oft-rumored Air Jordan 1 “Yellow Toe” or “Taxi” is finally making its way to the people. 

 The Wu-Tang style colorway is perfect for the people really about getting their “CREAM.” The black and yellow combination has always been a hit colorway for Jordan Brand making this latest release one of the most awaited colors in a while. 

Inspired by Abloh’s Air Jordan with the signature touches such as the orange tag. We, Bigassteam, bring the same reconstructed methodology designed with a little vintage vibe by aging the midsole. The shoe features “AIR” typography on the midsole, as well as an orange hit on the heel, which seems to imitate a price sticker. The lateral Swoosh also appears to be pinned to the upper instead of fully stitched. This design represents the combination of modern and old school to create the new look of Nike Air Jordan 1s
